D&AD asked Mother to design the 2002 album. Myself and Thomas Hilland took on the brief and landed on the fictional idea that D&AD was an early scientific body that published it’s findings of creative excellence - where science meets creativity.
The idea demanded photographing all the judges with multiple head positions as we planned to re-touch these onto classic victorian photographs. After months of painstaking post production by Admagic, the finished article was produced, with gold edging, printing and aged paper effect.
